  • What happens at dog school?

Dog school classes combine structured obedience training with socialisation in a friendly outdoor setting. You’ll learn how to handle your dog in public spaces while improving recall, focus, and calm behaviour around other dogs. Each class includes step-by-step guidance and hands-on practice, helping both you and your dog feel more confident together.

  • Do I need to book before coming to a class?

Yes, booking ahead is recommended to make sure we have space for everyone. You can also come watch a session before enrolling if you’re unsure. This allows you and your dog to get comfortable with the environment before joining in fully. It’s a great way to ease into training without any pressure.

  • Can reactive or anxious dogs attend group classes?

Absolutely. We welcome dogs of all temperaments and work at their pace. If your dog is nervous around others, we can provide extra support to help them adjust. Many reactive dogs improve significantly in our calm, structured environment—learning to focus, relax, and enjoy being part of the pack.

  • What are the benefits of group training compared to private sessions?

Group classes give dogs the opportunity to practise obedience in real-life scenarios with other distractions around. It helps reinforce listening skills, builds confidence, and strengthens the bond between you and your dog. Many owners find that the social atmosphere and shared learning experience make training more enjoyable and motivating.
